A Happy Weekend

The last month has been busy for me. I have been working, going to my therapy, communicating with my husband, and being there for my son.

And now fall is here. This is my absolute favorite time of year. I took Buddy for a nice long walk first thing this morning around 2 lakes in the middle of my little town. It was cool and cloudy and raining a little. I don’t know why but I love this weather.

Today is a special day. My son is making his first trip back up to school to spend time with his friends. My brother-in-law is coming up to spend time with my husband. And I am going to New York City for the weekend with my 2 good girlfriends. So much to be grateful for!

Here are some special quotes I have been meditating on this month. I just love making these little memes– all these messages are so powerful. I hope they bring you something you need to hear today. 🙂

“People say walking on water is a miracle, but to me walking on earth peacefully is the real miracle.” -Thich Nhat Hanh

I am learning to walk peacefully… 🙂

All 3 of us are doing so much better these last few weeks, and that is a huge blessing. Very grateful for all the good in this world.

The Universe is benevolent. It’s taken me far too long to realize this, and boy is it good to know! 🙂

Quiet and stillness brings healing and peace. Quietness is not defense, it is presence– a touchstone to your essential being, which is love.

seek-not-to-change-the-world-but-to-change-your-mind-about-the-world-acimThe world is at it is. Your life situation is as it is. But when you change your outlook to positive and keep focused on kindness and love, the world begins to change, and so does your life situation.

the-way-you-speak-to-others-can-offer-them-joy-happiness-selfconfidence-hope-trust-and-enlightenment-thich-nhat-hanhWords are powerful. Use your words carefully, mindfully. Use them for good. Help others with your words– and you help yourself.

Well that’s it for me today. How are you doing? Hoping you are well, and wishing you weekend of peace and goodness.
